BeyB
BeyB continues to idea of the collection Beyond, As the resulting form is different from Beyond, I have formalized it as a separate collection. The name “BeyB” is an acronym of “beyond Beyond” :).
As an artist I've been constantly moving towards simplicity, looking for the refined, pure form - just impressive in its austere simplicity. And yet so powerful, beautiful, and fresh.
Some types of origami have always been inspirational to me, but it has taken time to find a way to translate them into metal, into a piece so small as jewellery. By pushing my limits, going beyond the horizon I finally have found a way and am very happy about it.
Creating pieces for this collection is a dance between my hands and the metal, a partnership between my hands and my mind. Very intimate, fulfilling and rewarding.
Every item is formed in my hands. Pieces are made of silver and different Japanese alloys (shibuichi and shakudo). The simple and refined finish compliments the form.
