WORKSHOPS

I have been using nanoceramic coating (or e-coating) many years to cover my jewellery with a protective layer in those beautiful colors. I was the first one to take up this technology in Estonia in 2017. Now I have decided to pass on my knowledge to others and give workshops in this area.

Workshops about nanoceramic e-coating are offered as a “long weekend” events in my studio in Southern Estonia, but also as masterclasses in universities or other educational institutions.

I opened this teaching path with a week-long workshop in the jewellery and blacksmithing department of Estonian Academy of Arts in January 2025.

WEEKEND WORKSHOPS

You are welcome in my beautiful studio in a small village in Southern Estonia. We have a very private country house with a huge garden in between the forests and fields near Tartu. My studio is a separate building in our garden and is fully equipped and spacious enough to fit 4 students at a time. We’ll walk through the whole process and necessary equipment in four days. You will be hands on, to get a deep understanding of the technology and will have plenty of time to practice.

We’ll have lunches and dinners in my garden or in the nearby city of Tartu. We will take a trip to lake Peipsi and enjoy our time together with creative people in an inspirational environment.

WORKSHOPS/MASTERCLASSES for schools

An environment with access to water, good ventilation, no dust and enough working surface to set up equipment is a requirement for this workshop. In the Estonian Academy of Arts we held the workshop in the enameling room.

The maximum size of the group can be 10 people, but 4-6 is preferable.
